The solution
Thermal Energy Networks capture existing heat and cooling, recycle it into a thermal energy network and distribute that thermal energy to and within buildings.
There are 3 types of Thermal Energy Networks

Heat only
For areas with no or low cooling requirement

Hybrid heat & cooling
For areas with a need for both heating (in winter) and cooling (in summer)

Cooling only
For hot areas with no need for heating

Our mission is to secure your heat transition. By using one or several of our services you can move from idea to a solid and funded plan. If you start from scratch, we advice you to start with offer 1, and continue on with the remaining packages to obtain a robust district heating system.

We model your local energy system and explore pathways
- We build a techno-economic model of your local energy system to investigate cost efficient paths for district heating and cooling
- The model can identify how to fulfil your climate goals
- Through iterative workshops we create a set of scenarios for you to choose between
- The model is yours to keep, and can be used repeatedly to investigate future upgrades of your energy system
We develop the policy tools needed for the new markets to take off
- Through the energy system model, we simulate the effects of alternative policy scenarios.
- We calculate the consequences of different economic incentives and find the right balance to set the transition in motion.
- We review the current policy status and advice you on efficient policy measures, based on our experience from mature heat markets.

We help you design your physical and digital infrastructure
- We transform the abstract ideas into pipes and boilers.
- We deliver a full concept design, including an IT structure to ensure optimal utilization of the thermal sources.
- With an IT structure, it is possible to identify the optimal size of a system and to build flexibility into it. In this way, your system can expand over time without additional investments.
We help you make a robust business plan
- Based on your infrastructure design, we create a robust business plan for the district heating network.
- The business plan includes cash flow analysis, risk analysis, and identification of investment needs.
- You will receive a set of financial key performance indicators, to guide you through the next steps in your process.
